At the time of making this announcement, Chief Minister Vijay Rupani claimed that the least corruption is in Gujarat.  He said that while Gujarat has a weapon like the digital services bridge to reduce corruption, corruption will be reduced in the coming days.

In remote rural areas of the state, it was decided to start an innovative digital service bridge experiment in the state using modern technology to make public interest services from various government departments available from the village level to the gram panchayat itself.

Rural citizens do not have to rush to the Taluka district headquarters for daily services or certificates, for example, time and costs are saved in round-trip vehicle rental, as well as a variety of services in the primary stage with prices  make no mistake.

It has been decided to start in panchayats of 2 thousand grams from next October 5 covering Sevasetu.  It was decided to cover more than 6000 grams of panchayats on this digital service bridge by December 2020.

The most important thing in the digital service bridge is that the connections will be provided over the fiber optic network so that 100 MBPS high speed Internet is easily available in the towns of the state.

So far, 42 km of panchayats in 27 districts have been covered by a 31 km underground fiber optic network.

It has also made a radical decision that rural citizens do not have to go to the taluka level or the city notary to obtain affidavits for such cases.

The village-level Gram Panchayat Talati cum Minister will be empowered to declare sworn the affidavit to be made in accordance with the provisions of Article 3 of the 1969 Oath Act. So that the affidavits can be made available to the  rural citizens of the village itself in gram panchayat.
