The decision to open the Std 10 and 12 schools from January 11 was made at a cabinet meeting, Education Minister Bhupendrasinh Chudasama announced today. The state government has started preparations to start the schools according to the central government's Corona directive. It has been decided to start classes from January 10 and 12, PG and last university year.
All Gujarat, government and secondary school boards will start, only Std. 10 and 12 classes will start, plus the final year college classes will start. Education Minister Bhupendrasinh Chudasama said during a press conference that student attendance is not compulsory after the start of schools. Just as parental consent is not required. He said that at present no decision has been made to mass promote standard 1-8. Also, the exam schedule will be released later.
The number of courses taught will be the same as the number of courses taught. Online education will continue in schools. In addition, according to the Central Government SOP, social distance must be respected, schools must have heat guns and soap. Chudasama said other standards would also be considered in the near future.

- Sanitation facilities must be provided on each campus prior to starting colleges and schools.
- Students must have heat gun, sanitizer, and soap control devices for hand washing.

Following the Government of India SOP, the online education system provided by the state's schools and universities will remain the same.
The SOP will be applicable to all government, grant and self-financing schools, Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya, the department of social justice and empowerment, as well as the Adi Jati Vikas department schools of all state boards.
Beginning November 23, Std-9 through 12 schools, as well as PG, Med-Paramedic, and undergraduate senior classes will begin in the state.
The government will announce it later to make the appropriate decision in time to start the academic work of the remaining standard classes.
Student attendance at school is not compulsory.

Institutions must also obtain the written consent of the student's parents or guardians to attend school.
- Students will also be asked to bring their own masks, water bottles, books, snacks, etc. from home and not interact with other students.
- According to the revised seating arrangement in the classroom, there must be a distance of at least 6 feet between the two students.
- The principal-principal will have to arrange for students to come in stages so that there is no overcrowding on the school and university campuses.
For this purpose, the state government has requested to arrange for odd-numbered pairs, that is, three days a week for Std. 9th and 11th and three days for 10th and 12th at school as required.
- It is also suggested that students come to school on the scheduled days of the week and do homework on the remaining days.
- It is also advised not to practice sports or any other group activity in the field of mass prayer.
- Parents will be encouraged to use their personal transportation to get the child to and from school.
- Students using public transportation will also receive appropriate preventive orientation from the school.
