School, College and University Re-open Guideline Paripatra Declared
Schools will open in Gujarat from November 23. Standards 9-12 will start based on the SOP. Education Minister Bhupendrasinh Chudasama said that secondary and upper secondary education work will start from 23 November. Classes from Std. 9 to 12 will begin according to the SOP. The POE of the Government of India will be followed.
This time the program was changed due to Corona. The Gujarat government wants to hold the academic session longer after Diwali. Under normal circumstances, the first session begins in June and lasts for 105 days. The session ends with a 21-day Diwali holiday. Usually the 21 day holidays start two to three days before Diwali and end around Devdivali, but this time the schedule has changed due to Corona.
The next session will be refunded in the second session. The second session will be 150 to 155 days, since the lost time can be made up in the next session. Schools will open at the end of November, which means that the next five months will mean the end of May. The government is preparing to invite students from Std 9 to Std 12 to school after the Diwali holidays. This year, the Diwali holidays in Gujarat schools have been celebrated two weeks before October 29 to November 18.
