Diwali Festival Package for State Government Employee Declare

Chief Minister Shri Vijaybhai Rupani has made a noble decision to give Diwali advance as Diwali gift to more than five lakh officers and employees of the state government.
As a result of this benevolent decision of the Chief Minister, all the officers and employees serving in the State Government will get Rs.The State Government has allocated approximately Rs. 500 crore has been provided.
To further encourage digital transactions, the amount of this advance will be given to the officers and employees in the form of cards.This advance received by the officers-employees will be returned by the State Government in 10 monthly equal installments without interest.
As a result of this noble decision of Chief Minister Shri Vijaybhai Rupani, people will be more flexible in purchasing goods during Diwali festivals and as a result, business employment of small traders will get a boost.
In the current situation, the economy of the country and the state will also get a new impetus.
The following instructions have been circulated for the procedure to be followed for obtaining a pre-loaded Rupay card of Rs. Is performed .
1. The employee has to apply in the prescribed form to the establishment branch of the office along with full name, mobile number and e-mail address details to get the deposit under the special festival package.
2. The head of the establishment will send the details of the approved applications to the withdrawal and distribution officer.
3. The withdrawal and distribution officer will coordinate and send the details of the approved applications to the SBI and provide the details of the SBI branch for obtaining the card.
4. Upon receipt of the card at the concerned branch of SBI, it will be reported to the withdrawal and distribution officer and also the details of the amount to be paid as per the number of the card.
5. According to the number of cards, Rs. 10,000+ Rs. 15 (Rs. 150 of card processing charge + Rs. 2 of GST charge) will have to be paid to the bank by check.
6. The withdrawal and distribution officer will have to maintain the security standards of the card obtained from the bank and distribute it to the concerned employees / officers.
7. In the month in which the card is handed over to the employee / officer, the advance amount is Rs. 10000 / - will have to be recovered from salary.
8. Charges for getting the card are Rs. 15 / - (including GST) will not have to be recovered from the concerned employee / officer. These expenses will be borne by the Government of Gujarat.
