After the publication of this brochure, some new provisions have been introduced in the Gujarat State Rules of Service (Discipline and Appeal), 121 modifying them from time to time and resolutions / circulars have also been issued for further clarification of the rules. Some of the resolutions / circulars mentioned in the guidelines of the year 19 have been canceled, as well as the Gujarat Civil Service Rules of 2006 have been published modifying the Mumbai Civil Service Rules of the year 2006.

The defense officer and staff / officers acting on her behalf may not cite this brochure as a basis during the departmental investigation.
