The Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India (GOI) has established the National Testing Agency (NTA) as an independent, autonomous and self-sufficient leading testing organization to conduct international, transparent and efficient standard tests for  access the competition.  of candidates for admission to major institutions of higher education. 


The NATIONAL CUM ENTRY TEST OF ELIGIBILITY (UG) 2022 (NEET (UG) - 2022) will be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to MBBS / BDS courses and other undergraduate medical courses at medical universities /  dental and other approved / recognized Universities / Institutes in India.Section 14 of the 2019 National Medical Commission Act provides for the conduct of a common and uniform National Eligibility and Entry Test (NEET) for admission to undergraduate medicine courses in all medical institutions, including those that are  governed by any other law.

Therefore, admission to MBBS course at AIIMS, New Delhi, JIPMER and all AIIMS-like Institutions will be through NEET.  The eligibility criteria applicable to appear in NEET (UG) will also be applicable to candidates who wish to enter INI as AIIMS. Similarly, the minimum qualification criteria to be eligible for admission to the MBBS course will also apply to INIs.  In addition, the common counseling for admission to the MBBS course in these INIs will be carried out by the DGHS according to the schedule specified in the MCI regulations.

According to the latest NEET 2022
